Installing Green Kit
For the remainder of these instructions, I will assume you have T2D 1.75 installed in "C:\T2D_175". If this is not true, simply replace "C:\T2D_175" in these instructions with the correct directory for your installation.
To install the Green Kit for T2D 1.75 on a Windows machine, do the following:
- Download greenKit_1_7_5.rar or greenKit_1_7_5.zip.
- Extract the file you downloaded to your desktop using the 'extract here' option.
- Open the newly created directory (from step 2), select the 7 files and directories found there (gameData, main.cs, ...), and copy (CTRL+C) them into your buffer.
- Paste (CTRL+V) the files copied in step #3 into "C:\T2D_175\tgb\". (Click, "Yes" if prompted for replacing files.)
Testing Green Kit Install
Now that you have Green Kit installed, you can test it by doing the following:
- Start C:\TGB_174\tgb\TorqueGameBuilder.exe
- Create a new project named 'greenKitTest' using the 'GreenKit' Project Template.
If everything worked, you should see an image similar to this (the art may be different):
